On Monday 12 December 2011, BBC Radio 1’s Festive Festival returns to the legendary BBC Maida Vale Studios for a night of festivities and live performances from some of 2011’s rising stars hotly tipped for big things in the New Year. Kicking off at 7pm, hosts Nick Grimshaw and Zane Lowe introduce an eclectic line-up of artists they have been championing, including Bring Me The Horizon, Emeli Sande, Keaton Henson and Dot Rotton. These much anticipated performances in front of a live audience will be complemented by live mixes from some of dance music’s freshest talent getting behind the decks to showcase some of their latest productions - Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Unicorn Kid, Jakwob and Gemini. If you’d like to be part of the small audience for the Festive Festival, then we have 75 pairs of tickets to giveaway and all you need to do is register your details online and you and a friend could be joining us. You have to be 18 years or older to go to the show. Names will be selected at random once the registration closes on Wednesday 7th December and applications will be geographically weighted to those living in the local area. The night includes live performances from some of the brightest acts of 2011 AND unwrapped the acts to look forward to in 2012.
